Smokey FOTD: Bare Escentuals Drama, Bourjois Ombre a Paupieres Noir Emeraude, and MAC White PIgment
8:00 AMI think one of my favorite colors of recent purchases is Bare Escentuals Drama. I'm actually mad at myself for not purchasing it earlier! This color has been so versitile for me. It's a cooler shade, but has warm shimmer, so it is flexible enough to work some warm toned eyeshadows in with it. Below I played around with Drama, Bourjois Ombre a Paupieres Noir Emeraude, and MAC Frost to create a smokey eye, that I hope I can create again in the future! All three colors blended so well into eachother, that I almost look like I know what I'm doing! :)
Bare Escentuals Foundation "Fair"
Everyday Minerals Multi-Tasking Intense Concealor "Fair"
Nars Blush "Sin" and "Laguna"
Eyes:
MAC Pigment "Frost" - all over lid
Bare Escentuals Glimmer "Platininum" - inner corner
Bare Escentuals Glimmer "Drama" - lid/crease
Bourjois Ombre a Paupieres Noir Emeraude - outer corner, lower lashline
Smashbox Eyeliner "Caviar"
Bare Escentuals Flawless Mascara "Black"
To achieve this look, I used:
UDPP as a base
Bourjois Wet/Dry "Gris Delicat" - inner corner and lower lashline
NYX "Midnight" outer corner into outer crease
Fyrinnae "Shinkirou" as highlight and blended into crease
Mary Kate & Ashley Liquid eyeliner "Black"
NYX Dolleyes Lengthening Mascara - Ultimate Black
For the rest of my face I used Bare Escentuals "Fair" Foundation, Bare Escentuals Tinted Feather Light Mineral Veil, Nars "Lovejoy" blush, and Bare Escentuals Buxom "Ruby" lipgloss.
Please disregard the fact that I desperately need to get my eyebrows done! :) I just noticed how terrible they look when I was editing the pictures - ha!
I have been in a smokey EOTD mood recently, so I thought I would share the turquoise and gold look I did this past weekend. I used:
Taylor Made Minerals in Centaur in my inner corner
Taylor Made Minerals in Fiji Beach on my outer lid
Bourjois Ombre a Paupieres in Noir Emeraude 07 in outer corner and blended into crease
Jesse's Girl Eye Dust in Reflects Gold as high light
Rimmel GlamEyes in Extreme Black mascara I am absolutely loving the Bourjois Noir Emeraude because it is a warm black color, that can be blended into tons of colors (for example, turquoise) to build a beautiful and smokey eye. And, for the 75% off I bought it at Sephora, it really was a no brainer!!
